Each hat indicates a style of thinking, with which a different colour is associated. This method is usually applied to critically approach problems, seek creative solutions and produce original content.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lateral thinking is <em>an alternative<\/em> of the automatisms of our brain and is important as it helps to make decisions by considering a topic from different angles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Colore_pensiero_e_cappelli\"><\/span>Colour, thought, and hats<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each hat corresponds to a different style of thinking, mental attitude, and consequently, of communication. The starting assumption is that each of us has a predominant style of thinking and when faced with a topic, event, or problem we tend to use our own dominant style (hat) to process them. Aware of this unique automatism, it is important to make the effort to assume the gaze of other perspectives (the other 5 colours) and \"wear\", <strong>one at a time<\/strong>, other colour hats. In doing so, we are able to reach broader perspectives, managing to see even what does not immediately appear evident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Le_diverse_modalita_di_pensiero_nei_6_cappelli\"><\/span>The different ways of thinking in the 6 hats<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>These are the thinking styles and colours assigned to each of the 6 hats:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:15% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img id=\"Il_colore_del_coaching_e_dei_diversi_pensieri\"><\/span>The colour of coaching and different thoughts <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thinking, mental attitude and communication are key and testing elements in a coaching process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The questions that the coach asks to accompany the reasoning with the client aim precisely at identifying new perspectives and encourage continuous experimentation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the client's way of thinking evolves, his experience also takes on a whole new perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can imagine the <strong>Coach<\/strong> in colour <strong>Blue colour <\/strong>that, with their questions<strong> <em>helps <\/em><\/strong>to assume other points of view, <strong><em>to change perspective and open up new <\/em>possibilities<\/strong>, to move from a thought of \"<em>I can't...\"<\/em> to one of <em>\"...I can try to ...\"&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Here is how thoughts can change, thinking in different
